Dinesh's story is very sad. His father died seven years ago from tuberculosis. His mother died one month ago from AIDS. After father died, the mother suffered financially and neglected the children. She used to travel different places and somehow she was infected with HIV. She could not take proper treatment and food. It was very difficult for children to cope with the situations in the family and particularly her death. Dinesh and his elder brother and elder sister were left with grand parents. The grand parents are very poor and dependants. They get small pension from the Government (Rupees 200 per month = $4). Very often children go hungry and getting neglected on studies
